1st Encouragement Message started Mother’s Day -

Here is the word that was sent out to everyone! Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to our many friends and family that have signed up for our daily encouragement text and email service. We thought it appropriate to send out our first message on Mother’s Day . Many of you may be a mother and many may not.   In each case we all however can relate to a mother. I personally find it only appropriate that this first message is dedicated to two very special mothers. My mom Saundra Johnson and Donna’s mom Ruby Barnhart………… I am very fortunate that my mom is still alive and serving the Lord by her gift in playing the piano and organ for two local churches on Sunday where she lives. Donna my ministry partner however lost her mom over 2 years ago. However while she was alive she served the Lord in her local church and we all know that she on this Mother’s day is laughing with Jesus. Today lets remember the ladies in our lives that have also been like mothers to us as well. I have many friends such as Joy and Renee   where I know each of their moms and they are all women of God. This first round of messaging is dedicated to all of you. Be blessed moms on this very special day that God created just for you. We love you all!

Today be encouraged because moms were made very special by God. Proverbs 31 is an empowering look at the role of women. Not only is a virtuous woman righteous in the Lord, but she is a loving wife and mother, a smart shopper, a seamstress, a gardener, a good housekeeper, and trains her children with wisdom. Her husband appreciates her and can praise her to his associates and friends because she is worthy of praise. Is this attainable for the average Christian woman? Absolutely! All things are possible through Christ. With prayer and study we can all be “Proverbs 31 women.”

A Mother’s Heart:

Your loving heart was made by God quite different from the rest. It’s shaped to hold a lot of love and always think the best. Your heart reflects the Saviour’s grace like no one else I know; you taught me how to trust in him and watched my spirit grow. You bind my wounds and dry my tears, you lift me up in prayer. You’re always finding special ways to show me you care. Because of you, with heartfelt thanks, I offer God my praise. That I might grow to be like you and imitate his ways.
